• Camera: Used only for scanning LEGO set barcodes to quickly find deals. This is optional and only activates when you choose to use the scanner feature

• Background App Refresh: Enables the app to update deal information in the background (optional)

4.2 Android Permissions

• Internet: Required to fetch deal data and prices from our API
• Network State: Allows us to detect if you're online and optimize data usage
• Notifications: Enables price alerts and deal notifications (optional)
• Schedule Alarms: Used for scheduled background updates of deal data
• Boot Completed: Allows the app to restart background services after device reboot
• Foreground Service: Enables background data synchronization

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Database Security: Our databases (MySQL and Redis) are secured with access controls and encryption at rest
• Data Retention: Analytics data is retained for up to 30 days, after which it's automatically deleted

We aggregate publicly available product information and pricing data from retailer websites. We do not receive any personal information about you from these retailers.

6.3 No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

We do not use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics or Facebook SDK) or advertising networks. All analytics are handled internally by our own privacy-focused system.
